They may be appreciated for their principle structures , their health care structures , their encouraging and mating rites , or their recreational openings

We no longer value countries solely by their degree of technological expansion or their gross national product (GNP . As pertinent as individuals ' economic and political position in the global hierarchy is its wealth in convention , practice , and ritual . Such societal capital and cultural riches continue a group and differentiate it among communities and countries , incorporating our own . We no longer compare human worth and excellence of life exclusively with technological and economic progress
