SOCIAL ISSUES ON GLOBAL WARMING

WEBSITE 1 : HYPERLINK "http /en .wikipedia .org /wiki /Global_warming http /en .wikipedia .org /wiki /Global_warming

What is the ability of the prescribed social problem solutions to solve the social problem

There have been great efforts to combat the effects of global warming The Kyoto Protocol , the world 's international agreement against global warming , aims to greatly reduce the emissions of greenhouse gases by industrialized countries under the said agreement . Although these

br efforts may not completely eliminate global warming itself , they may prove to be very much effective in lessening its adverse effects on the world , societies and individuals thereby , reducing the social problems that come with it

What are the costs (social , financial , etc ) that it has on society or its individuals

There would inevitably certain socio-economic costs accompanying the prescribed preventive measures and compliance to the Kyoto Protocol Industrialized countries would have to rehabilitate , possibly completely overhaul their existing industries . This may mean greatly hurting a government 's finances . Some industries may have to be completely close down , jobs may be lost , and the lifestyles of the societies would definitely have to change

What is the likelihood of the solution receiving social or political support

This prescribed solution described in this source /website is likely to receive social and political support from not yet developed and developing countries that may be more willing to look at the bigger picture ' and yield to the recommended changes . These solutions however , are less likely to be welcomed by highly-industrialized capitalist countries

Who would object to this solution and why

Highly-industrialized and highly-developed countries , like the U .S would object to this kind of solution probably because it would take a great deal of effort and finances to change existing and already-established industries . Compliance to the prescribed solutions may substantially hurt such a huge economy , and possibly pose some immediate , adverse effects on such a large society

Do you agree with this solution or not ? Why

I would have to agree with a solution such as the Kyoto Protocol . It is true that it may just be a small attempt to combat a global issue , but a global problem indeed needs and global solution . The Kyoto Protocol is at least a step

If you disagree with the stated solution , what would you suggest instead

Although I agree to the prescribed solution , I believe that further studies and research concerning everything about global warming and its impacts would still be highly recommended
