Introduction - Drug problem is one of the problems of the modern day society . There was a prevailing belief before that in the fight against drugs , the victims - the users - should not be treated as the enemies but as victims who needs the understanding of the society and its ability to provide resources so that they can be rehabilitated and allowed to rejoin the society after serving prison time or rehab . But there seems to be a problem in the

process of handling drug-related cases , especially cases wherein the drug users are not violent or did not commit any crime that indicates act of violence . Should they be placed in a position wherein the society treats them like an ordinary mindless , bloodthirsty , opportunistic criminal ? The will show a design of a classical experiment on the of having a drug court for non-violent drug offenders

Identifying the components - the components of this experiment will include several important components . The necessary work to back up the experimentation is necessary since the will explain the research question , the hypothesis as well as the review of related literature that will support the veracity and probability of the claim for the need for a court that handles non-violent drug offenders . Other important components of this experiment will include the possible test subject and the possible trial run of a court that will be designated exclusively for the cases involving drug offenders who do not show any acts or tendencies of violence or did not commit any crime which is related to acts of violence . Respondents , in the form of convicted drug offenders who are not guilty of any acts of violence , would also be considered

Research question - The research question for the is this : is there a need for the segregation of courts handling the cases of drug offenders who are not guilty of acts of violence

Hypothesis - The presents the research question because of the belief that the blanket perspective awarded to drug offenders who face criminal charges regardless of their record for acts of violence or the absence of violent tendencies may have had effects on the manner by which the society is responding to the perceived victims of the menace of drugs . Today , because drug cases are handled in one and the same court , even the victims - the users - are accorded with the appraisal similar to those convicted of violent crimes , which should not be the case because not all of the drug users and offenders of existing anti-drug laws in the land are capable of violence or acts of violence Because of the absence of segregation , there is a growing stereotyping of drug offenders as common violent criminals as well , and this attitude of the society does not help these offenders when they get out of prison and rejoin the society .
