There are three events so far that have had a very profound effect on social psychology and have brought revolution in people 's way of life They include religious (cultural ) events , the election of Obama as the first black American president of US and historical events like the Second World War . All these events are at the core of things that are central to the needs of normal human beings . Due to

the diverse needs and complexities of the human mind , there has always been conflicts arising in the way man tries to articulate the above issues but the end results has been always enlightment and the change of perception of some happenings and in some way it has promoted toleration of others giving rise to a peaceful coexistence (Eliot Diane , 2000

A current trend that is worrying in the psychological circles is the entertainment industry in the US . The industry is on frenzy and if action is not taken soon it will escalate out of hand . Hollywood movies have become increasingly notorious for high content of pornographic and violence . Some of these movies are not rated and therefore they are eroding the moral fabric of the society and are initiating many young people to violence , drugs and irresponsible behaviors at relatively young and tender age (Georges , 1977

I envision a research in this area on the psychological and social effects on...
