Social Movement Organization on Migration

With the global world becoming smaller and smaller through travel and varied forms of advanced communication - migration in each country is quickly becoming something established in everyone 's social lives forcing many to look at both good and bad aspects of it throughout our country . Migration helps to develop or change things such as economics or social status , as migrants move into the

destined area for varied reasons . With these movements , social movement organizations will eventually be formed which forces us to take a long hard look at the migration movement itself--such as labor migration , which is the number one reason why most people migrate into another area . The United States also had laborers who would work in almost any field with few complaints and were considered good workers . Everyone was happy , until the amount of labor migrants entering the United States from Mexico became excessive in number , with illegal migrants entering through illegal measures . This forced the social movement organizations to take a hard look at the migration situation between the United States and Mexico , with such organizations such as the Center for Comparative Immigration Studies (CCIS ) at the University of California in San Diego , California . This social movement organization on migration not only looked at the migration problem but also offered some solutions to the problem that began over a decade ago . But to understand the problems now between the two countries , a look at the politics behind the situation and how they operate needs to become more understood
