SOCIAL JUSTICE

Social Justice is generally known as the equality of all people in the society . However , in the real life , justice sometimes fades in the societal activities . Social Justice then , needs to be defined clearly and in details . From the general context of social justice , it is better to define it as the equality of all human being in all aspects while bestowed with liberty in all his acts and transactions with the limitation that nobody shall be prejudiced . Thus , social justice bears three elements , equality , liberty and responsibility

Equality is commonly understood as fairness in treatment but is still vague and general . Equality , as an element of social justice , is the fairness in treating all men in the eyes of man , in the eyes of law and in the eyes of the government . Man shall treat each other as their same and shall treat each other with respect . Man shall also recognize the rights of existence of his fellow and shall not do anything that will prejudice him . Law which protects man from prejudicial acts or transaction and guides every man 's action shall not also be prejudicial As embodied in the U . S . Constitution which states that

All persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof , are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside . No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States nor shall any State deprive any person of life , liberty , or property without due process of law nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws (Findlaw , 2008

From the stated Constitutional provision , it is expected that all laws shall be for the common good of all and shall not expressly and impliedly exclude any other people or group because of gender , status financial capacity , ethnicity and any other factors . However , laws shall be carefully studied in a way that it is within the context of common good and morality and institutional values . In addition , laws as guidelines of the peoples ' acts shall not impart among men rules and regulation which will lead man to discriminate or exclude a class or group of people , except if public necessity requires it . An example of which is when a particular residents is forced not to go out of their place because they are infected...
