A random poll conducted previous week by Research 2000 of Rockville and Maryland , to gather information about voter 's views on the proposed smoking ban in Allen county indicated that more than half of the voting population supported the ban . The Democrat supporters have largely favoured the ban (73 , whereas only 35 of Republican voters supported the ban .
