SIMULATION Introduction The importance of critical thinking has become one aspect of managerial skills that assists on decision making . This critical thinking provides appropriate support for a person to make the right decision and implement the correct strategies . Critical thinking is critical for a manger or any person who handles people and a company . This critical thinking leads to the production of effective and efficient strategies that uphold the conformity of good business conclusions Problem Evaluation Tools To provide a more generalized approach regarding the finding of solutions to

problems , there are three general parts that was seen in a pie graph in the simulation , Framing the Problem , Making the Decision and Evaluating the Decision . Framing the Problem consists of identifying the problem , defining criteria , goals , objectives , and evaluating the effects of the problem . Making the Decision contains identifying causes of the problem , framing alternatives , evaluating impact of alternatives and making the decision . The last part is Evaluating the Decision , it is composed of measuring the impacts and implementing the decision . All of these serves as a magnanimous part on coming up with a better solution and a more critically thought conclusion . Without these factors identified , there will be a hard time for a certain person or manager to better his or her decision-making
There are several problem evaluation tools that were utilized in the simulation provided . The first one used was the Matrix . This tool serves as a leveling ground that differentiates the most needed problems to be resolved and the less immediate problems needed to be resolved . Determining the factors that coincide these quadrants serves as the critical basis for decision making with regards to the business concerns
Another tool that was used in the simulation was the choosing of solutions and prioritizing them . There was a column-placing activity in the simulation that requires the manager to put the appropriate solutions that can come up with the best positive results . In the simulation also , there are several key ideas that provide these solutions . It tackles from sales , human resource issues , inventory aspects , legal issues and technology issues specifically WAN issues Making the right and critical decisions regarding these aspects were the main focus of the simulation
Conclusion
Despite the difference with regards to decision making in the simulation , I prefer my own way on handling those aspects concerning the solutions . In the the promotion of sales and the satisfaction of customers and employees alike , because after all they are the ones that keep the business alive All the other minor concerns can be handled but prioritizing the said concerns plays a magnanimous role for the entirety of the success of those decisions . The techniques used to provide a more critical thinking approach is a good way of addressing the concerns and pinpointing the priorities and the variables
All in all , the whole simulation provided different solutions that targets one main goal , to improve the management of a store and achieve a more profitable status that could provide smiles...
