Sicko
Moore doesn 't look far beyond the fabulously well-paid British doctors and generosity of French social services , where lies a financially-strapped National Health Service in the UK and a largely overlooked movement in the United States to reform health care (Denby , 2007 Moynihan , 2007 That 's not to say that Sicko is false or that Moore is a predatory culture vulture . His admirably pointed emphasis on the general community-oriented philosophy of social services that is lacking in the United States is perhaps the most moving dilemma in the entire film . but

by merely highlighting the flaws of the American system over the strengths of other nation 's , he mildly trivializes an issue too serious to reduce to a portrait of humorous disbelief
This is perhaps Moore 's greatest triumph as a film maker , drawing attention to a falsely idealized America and being its foremost irritant . Moore has perfected agitprop in its most ideal dimensions Denying the people a tacit acceptance of inequity by irritating and agitating them to think about why it shouldn 't be so
