With the advent of new techniques for learning and understanding society as a whole , the human mind and actions are being studied in-depth which is seen from different perspectives , including psychological biological , cultural , and others . With these views , certain people argue with which every aspect of human consciousness is understood . In psychological perspectives alone , with emphasis on the subject of intelligence and learning , two contrasting views were seen as on the most clashing arguments in the field of psychology

John White (2002 : 86 ) in his work `The Child 's Mind ' as cited by Hand (2007 : 4 , holds on to the .idea that a person is said to be intelligent when she possesses a particular competence , but supplements it with the ideas that a person is also said to be intelligent by virtue of her innate capacity to acquire competences , and when one of her acquired competences is successfully exercised ' With this definition in mind , certain perspectives could arise with regards to the individual intelligences possessed by people and how they make use of it in their everyday lives
