Introduction

Finding an alternative source of energy is already a global concern especially that the effects of global warming was found to be detrimental to the environment . There are many countries cooperated and involved funds in to achieve the goal of saving the earth from the effects of global warming thus other alternative sources of energy has been considered to replace

the fossil fuel . The production of fossil fuel was affected leading to scarcity and price hike because of the World War II then the theory of biomass gasification was found to be reliable and useful means for transportation and agricultural farm systems (Rajvansi , 1978 . Thus biomass gasifier has been a focus for many to enable the process of biomass gasification effective , less hazardous and environmental friendly . Biomass gasification means incomplete combustion of biomass resulting in production of combustible gases consisting of Carbon monoxide (CO , Hydrogen (H2 ) and traces of Methane (CH4 (Reed , Graboski and Markson , 1982

Biomass gasifier is the device that converts all biodegradable materials such as wood waste saw dust briquettes etc . that involves a thermo-chemical process resulting to a gas production applicable for energy consumption . CPW Chanderpur works describes biomass gasifier as

A biomass gasifier converts solid fuel such as Wood Waste , Saw Dust briquettes and agro-residues converted into briquettes into a gaseous fuel through a thermo-chemical process...
