Transformational Leadership Plan

I . Introduction

Leaders are made and not born . With the right training and motivation each one of us can become effective leaders in our own right . Leaders need to improve their outlook and their personality through self-study practice , and inspiration before they can be effective (Cords , 2007 The process of becoming a good leader is continuous - for true leadership is never stagnant or arrogant

The role of a leader in an organization is vital . It is through leaders that the success or failure of an institution lies . Without

the right knowledge and the guidance , leaders are bound to fail and without a shadow of doubt , the whole group goes down with them . Leaders are expected to implement changes and innovations within their organization , whether or not doing so would initiate controversies and instability . Bold leaders are expected to recognize which transformations are necessary for the group and which ones are irrelevant or unbeneficial . The pains and difficulties surrounding alterations to a system , whether or not it deals with policies traditions , and morals have to be evaluated carefully . It is important that leaders understand which troubles are worth experiencing to create a fair advantage for the members and the organization he heads (Sims 2000

While leaders are conceived as strong and pompous , there is that undeniable tendency to fail . But even failure plays a big role in the formation of a leader as it is part of the whole...
