It primarily tells the story of how Oskar Schindler , a Nazi , was able to save the lives of thousands of Jews during one of the darkest times in the history of the world . World War II has been the theme of numerous movies in the past but what makes this film stand out from the rest is that it has a heartwarming plot , strong characters excellent portrayal

In the first part of the movie , the main character , Schindler portrayed by Liam Neeson , was a Nazi whose main priority were money , power and women . But as the story developed , each scene led to the revelation of the good side of Schindler which added a touch of humanity into the narrative . More so , the incorporation of remarkable characters such as the ruthless villain , Amon Goeth , played by Ralph Fiennes and the Jewish accountant of Schindler , Itzhak Stern played by Ben Kingsley . These two particular characters emphasized the situation that the Nazis and Jews were experiencing during WWII . Furthermore , they symbolized the complex and unpredictable characteristics of humanity . In line with this , these characters would not come to life if it were not for the superior acting skills of Neeson , Fiennes and Kingsley .
