I believe that my academic training at York College together with my competitive spirit , team-leading capability and past retail sales experience qualify me for the position

While at York College my course of study provided a strong background in business

with a focus on marketing . Some of the courses taken that bear directly upon the job position I seek are : Management Information Systems , Business Marketing , Marketing Research , Leadership and Change and Advertising . In addition to my academic studies I also participated in the school 's wrestling program . My wrestling experience has taught me both how to be competitive and how to be part of a team . Overall While at York I learned how to anticipate and meet customer 's needs through research , product planning and pricing , as well as distribution and promotions . This knowledge positions me well to be an account representative for a valued customer or to pursue more general sales duties for inside sales

Many of the positions I have held have shown me how important inventory control can be to a business . Maintaining adequate stock was very important as a bartender . Having access to the right type of material for a jobsite was important for my work as a landscaper and as a bricklayer . As a cashier I was able to see how bar-coding product made the check-out process more efficient and provided instant feedback on inventory back to the store 's management team . All this experience has shown me some of the ways that Intellitrack 's products can be important to its customers and will provide insight in how to approach both new and existing customers ' needs
