Setting Goals

Although I have several long term goals , the ones I really intend to achieve in the near future are to become a marketing director of one of the top companies in the world such as Nokia or Sony and eventually become one of its top executives such as CEO or a member of its board of directors . I am generally a highly enthusiastic person with very good interpersonal skills , which is very important in top businesses . I am also very creative and I think outside the box most of the time

which I believe are two traits would be very helpful in my career in marketing

In to accomplish my long-term goals , I first need to get a good education . I will take up a course related to business or marketing and do my best to graduate with honors . After receiving my degree , I will immediately look for a job in well-known or well-established companies under its marketing department . At the same time , I will also study the various marketing strategies of my company 's competitors and think of our own innovative strategy that would effectively penetrate the market In other words , I will fully grasp the fundamentals of my company and understand how it runs so that I will know I could be useful to it . I will also attend various seminars or workshops about businesses and research about how the top businesses operate . I intend to accomplish all of this in five years

After gaining a lot of experiences and exposure , I will then work even harder to make myself eligible for promotions . If not , I will move to another top company and see if I can get a higher position there . Either way , I will ensure that I would move up the corporate ladder and eventually become one of the top executives of my company and become highly successful
