A registered nurse is responsible for assessing the health needs of the patient by properly examining their health status and the checks the patient 's response to treatment , provision of self-care coping with chronic illness and the patient 's function related to the daily living . According to American Nurses Association , the role of the Unlicensed Assistive Personnel includes
