The article that we have chosen is an article that was published last August 2007 and is entitled An Empirical Investigation of the Characteristics of Firms Adopting Enterprise Risk Management . Basically , what this study is are the applications of various hazards models in to examine the various factors that

could influence enterprise risk management by firms . The authors have pointed out that in recent economics and management literature and studies , enterprise risk management is given recent focus because of the potential gains and uses of such methodologies in to estimate risk .
