`Rio Treaty`
Dear Editor I have read your article regarding the Rio Earth Summit which was held in 1992 . I know that the problem of climate change is arising and is currently felt by many of us . I personally have noticed that calamities and disasters had been in their most extreme conditions . These incidents do not only affect the people but also different industries as well These kinds of events are alarming for me and for my family . Bearing in mind that there is environment degradation occurring there is a great possibility that the

future generation might not be able to enjoy the things that we currently have such that of the clean water , fresh air and a biodiversity which could provide all the needs that we have
During the Rio Earth Summit it is known that there is a treaty agreed by many states in to answer the problem of climate change . It is said that developed countries should be able to lessen their green house gas (GHG ) emissions in to help the earth from slowly degrading . I firmly believe that the developed countries must be able to lessen their GHG emissions because first and foremost , most of developed countries had industries in which emit excessive gases which pollute the earth Although there are also emissions coming from developing countries it is the developed countries in which emits more harmful gases
Even if there is an issue regarding who should really lessen the emissions it is still the liability of all nations to address the problem of climate change . It is not only the responsibility of the developed nations but all the nations in the world . The issue of climate change is obviously not a conflict within one nation but a conflict of all nations . As human beings we must be responsible with the action that we take . Moreover , we are the stewards of our own environment therefore we must take responsibility over it . Such action would not be good for our present world but also for the future of the next generations after us
Thank you very much for reading my comment , I do believe in the actions of the United Nations in preventing the future concerns of climate change and also in mitigating the consequences regarding it
