SEXUAL BEHAVIOR

The dialogue is between Nurse Rose and Lady Miriam who is sexually active and uses her friend 's birth control pills . The nurse is to do a diagnosis , planning and implementation , intervention and evaluation on the patient . The conversation goes like this

Nurse : Hallo , how are you doing today ? Am nurse rose and today I will attend to you . tell me your name , age and occupation

Miriam : My morning is fine . My names are Miriam . I am 21 years old and a student at the city 's college

Miriam : Well , I have been sexually active for almost two years Currently , am dating my

boyfriend whom we occasionally have sex . Of late I discovered that he has been sleeping with other girls and hence I decided to have my health status checked

Nurse : That is a very good thing you have done . May I ask what method of contraceptives do you use

Miriam : This is embarrassing , but I normally use my friend 's birth control pills

Nurse : Its okay in a little while I will explain to you why that is wrong , but first I would like to ask you when you last had a thorough physical examination by your local GP

Miriam : I had one a year ago , and everything was fine

Nurse : Have you ever had a blood test for STDs , vaginal examination and vaginal smear test

Miriam : I haven 't had one since last year
