People living on our planet get more and more concerned about the environmental situation which becomes worse every single day . There are being taken measures for prevention of global catastrophe both by ordinary people and organizations (state , public , private ones . One of the most widespread ways for an organization to show its concern about this subject is implementing its environmental policy statement

The modern tendency is directed towards the integrated policy of quality , environment and safety , and thus many organizations build their

br management systems up combining these three very important issues into one single statement . For example , the world-known company FESTO has developed its management system integrating three mentioned issues . Its management system has been certified , and the company holds one certificate confirming the accordance of its politics in the fields of quality , environment and safety

But no matter if the environmental policy is integrated into the management system or is regarded as a separate matter , there must be responsible employees who develop the environmental policy statement and make it available for everyone employed in the organization . Every single employee should be aware of this policy , and this is done either by the responsible employer , the management circle or by the direct supervisor . Certainly there are measures and actions the fulfilment of which is the task of the management of the organization . But another part of the policy obliges the whole stuff and every employee should realize that he is individually responsible for following the procedures set forth under this policy that may relate to the job being performed by that worker . Thus it would be incorrect to divide the responsibility for implementing the environmental policy statement between employees of the organization , but every single employee is obliged
