Introduction

There is a worldwide agreement in favor of some action to address the issue of climate change and global warming . It has however been difficult to get all the countries to agree on the negotiations . The concerns that have been raised by developed countries notably the United States is that the negotiations are biased since they favor the developing countries (Nordhaus and Danish 2003 . There are also fears about the countries ' economy as most of the developed countries depend on industries for employment and manufactured goods p

With the closure of the industries the economy of the countries is likely to suffer a great deal . This applies to both the developing and developed countries . The Kyoto Protocol which has tightened the rope on the developed countries is therefore biased as there are developing countries which equally need to cut on their emissions . These countries such as China and India ought to face the same measures that are applied to the developed countries . Nevertheless it is the role of all governments (more so in the developed countries where politics tend to interfere with the process ) organizations and even individuals to ensure that they try and remedy some of the causes of global warming . This can be realized in a number of ways which include investing in research and educating the masses on some of the effects of climatic change .
