Executive Summary Internet or on line dating service is a system of dating which give couples , groups and individuals an opportunity to communicate or to contact each other using the internet . The objective of using an online dating service is to develop a sexual or a romantic relationship Internet dating services has been found to be providing a match making that cannot be moderated through the use of mobile phones and the use of computers The research seeks to find out if people are willing to use online dating services . The

study was done between 3rd December and 13th December in California . Using purposive sampling technique one hundred people were selected , because the target population had already been defined to be people above eighteen years and below sixty , they also had to be college students , divorcee , widower , widow or any single individual
The data for the research was collected using questionnaires , survey and interview . The methods were used because of the following reasons interview was used because it is important when getting a story it gives a researcher fast hand information . The main reason of using interview in the research was that , it gives a researcher room to get in depth information about the number of people using online dating services Survey was used because it also gives fast hand information and it is efficient while Questionnaires were used because the research wanted a specific answer
