Research Essay
INTRODUCTION United States of America is a world super power in this current generation . The war in Iraq was fought so as to maintain the world peace . England forces also joined Bush in his pursuit to finish Saddam Hussein and his brutal government . Many questions have however been raised on the issue as per to whether Saddam was removed from power because of genuine reasons or it was because of selfish interest of USA and England . The war was fought at a time when the world was immersed in fear of nuclear

weapons which were made by some Asian countries . The world was also immersed in war over the control of petroleum . All these are possible reasons for the two superpowers to attack Iraq
PROBLEM STATEMENT
Desire for control of world resources motivated United States of America to wage war against Iraq . England being a closer ally to USA , they too participated to preserve some benefits for themselves
LITERATURE REVIEW
World historians have all along studied the wars waged by USA against other countries . One shocking discovery was that the USA was the first country to accuse their opponents before proceeding to any war . This implies that USA must have had some interests in these victim countries Some of the countries that have suffered include : Vietnam , Russia Afghanistan , and Iraq . These countries have been accused either of having terrorists or nuclear weapons
METHODOLOGY
Interviews , surveys and questionnaires are the best methods used to collect data . Secondary information is also of great importance . This is from journals , newss and taped materials
