The mind is a critical element of a human being . The mind controls a lot of bodily functions like thinking which corresponds to learning which corresponds to reaction or decision we make depending on what we perceive as right and wrong . Critical thinking is common among adults those whose brain has been developed in a way that they do not only accept everything that is being presented to them as absolute truth but also has the capability of questioning the validity of the information presented and realizing if it

could be accepted as a truth or not depending on the person 's mindset , the person t whom the idea was presented that is . One form of critical thinking is researches about the essence of being and the nature of knowledge . An example of this will be the study conducted by Margaret Ann Fuller (2005 ) about the relationship of an alternative form of discourse to a better self understanding

Fuller (2005 ) uses the social constructionist perspective in studying five clients and their therapists in analyzing how effective a spiritual discourse is in behavior modifications . This team of clients and their respective therapists were recorded while having a discussion about alive moment ' previously chosen by the client from a videotaped . Te results were analyzed using data analysis that was cross- verified with participants . Orientation as part of an adult learning is how we perceive lessons in life or in school . Five may all be looking at the same thing but they will arrive at five different conclusions

The study is significant in finding new avenues for a better counseling session . Fuller (2005 ) has acknowledged the existence of a Holy being in our lives and how our perception of him affects us . Her study tries to liberalize the mind of therapists and clients as well regarding how they can heal themselves form the pain that they are experiencing and how to deal with the world again after a therapy
