Abstract

The rationale for this research was an interest in whether or not vaccines cause autism in children . The hypothesis was derived : That vaccines cause autism in children as parents have noticed changes in their children 's behavior once their child received a vaccine . From this hypothesis the research question was developed and is shown below

Aims

To discover whether vaccines directly cause autism in children

To assess whether vaccines may cause autism in a subset of genetically susceptible children , or a neurological condition that resembles autism .To ascertain whether there is sufficient proof to show that vaccines either definitively do or do not cause autism in children

Approach

The research will draw on relevant literature relating to studies performed on children with autism , studies performed in regard to mercury in vaccines and studies that attempt to find or disprove a correlation between the two . The study will take a quantitative approach and this will be implemented through studying children with autism in relation to the vaccines that they have received versus children without autism and the vaccines that they have received
