The basis on the argument on what is a philosopher was for Socrates is on a person 's attitude and treatment towards what how knowledge should be approached . His idea centers on knowledge and learning , and stressed out that knowledge should be treated clearly and with fair basis hence one cannot claim that one is fair if one does not love all and everything concerning the idea . Citing parallelism between fairness and learning , he

clearly stated that if one loves learning and seeks to unveil behind things through knowledge then one has to accept everything that created knowledge , wholly . This is the contention that built up when he claimed that if knowledge is founded on what satisfies a person 's curiosity , then one can directly say that those who are curious pursue knowledge by satisfying their curiosity can therefore be labeled as philosophers
