Analyses that if people externally get the job instead of internally it creates tension

In business terms when we think of the recruitment process , we think according to the International Journal of carer management (1995 ) How do we find the right candidate with the right qualifications as quickly as possible and at the lowest possible cost
We have chosen Paddy Power plc because they have a high recruitment drive and also they recruit on a regular basis . We felt Paddy Power plc had a strong advantage in recruitment as they have many different areas of business e .g . betting shops , call centre , management areas , settling and HR
We knew as students about there recruitment process as they have a history of recruiting students on a part time and full time basis
We see recruitment as

Employment recruitment is composed of several stages : verifying that a vacancy exists drawing up a job specification finding candidates selecting them by interviewing and other means such as conducting a psychometric test and making a job offer . Effective recruitment is important in achieving high organisational performance and minimising labour turnover . Therefore we will be keeping in mind the above when we are analysing the advertising , application , interview and the internal and external recruitment process of Paddy Power plc
Not only did we look at recruitment we also looked at promotion within Paddy Power plc
In this project we are going to discuss in detail the recruitment process for call centres and betting shops as the recruitment method is completely different depending on the department the candidate is applying to
