America has been credited to be a state of liberty and freedom . As a result , the country has been regarded by so many people to be God 's own country . Perhaps , this is informed by the fact that much attention is drawn on civil liberty and equality of every citizen . Generally speaking , every society should strive to ensure the upholding of equality between people in the society . This should not exclude any group of persons and no racial consideration should be considered . If we say that we want to uphold the rule of law , then we must essentially ensure that we treat everybody in the society equally .
