Questions-BUILDING COMMUNITY IN ORGANIZATIONS

(1 ) The initiative to address and create opportunities for the improvement of oneself and others has always been my integral understanding of community building . In the realm of Human Services this is essentially important because it provides the needed boost and development of changes within an organizational and societal setup . It must take into consideration the numerous factors that have been shaping the actions of groups and individuals within the community

Realizing this , the goals and relevant issues must be synchronized with these factors to create increased efficiency and effectiveness Likewise

, there must be an adequate and applicable leadership strategy to be applied in such course of actions . Since Human Services is a complex undertaking , the person must have the skills and competence to handle the tasks and initiate change accordingly (Cohen and Cohen 2000 (2 ) I had the chance to experience a sense of community in the current school that I attend to . This college /university has provided in me the direction to where I can best cater and expand my skills necessary to be competitive in my future endeavors . Also , with its capability to handle diversity of students and our increasing needs , I am able to create relationships based on interests and affiliations

Likewise , my perceptions are being honed towards achieving a particular objective or goal . Due to this , I begin to feel an association to the overall as my personality and mindset begins to reaffirm and synchronize with the purpose of the school . It is in here...
