The rights allows individuals make choices on lifestyle allowing them have their favorite diet , clothing , and practices , without considering the effects of these choices to their health and the health of the public . For example , it is rare to get great men taking vegetables

simply because their lifestyle is quite advanced . They forget that vegetables have a lot for their health . Many people exclude some vital food in their diet , because of their lifestyle . They develop health problems and spend a lot in medication to alleviate the problem which could have minimal costs if they adjusted their lifestyle to accommodate such beneficial food in their diets . States and Federal government consider denying the limiting individual rights to ensure that the individuals lifestyle are able manage and improve individuals health . With a number of measures , the government targets at spend less on health issues and improving people 's health with unanticipated negative effects to individuals and the society
A healthy lifestyle is the base to healthy living and improved living standards . Healthy lifestyle involves regular exercises , controlling body weight , and free from use of tobacco products . Although some people try to maintain , this kind of lifestyle , some considers the lifestyle to be denying the pleasures , and quite involving . Although many government and non -government organizations are working hard to improve health of many individuals as a way of maintaining quality public health ,reports show a high percentage of lifestyle-related diseases . Their effort need to to target at enhancing personal responsibility for health as a key aspect of fighting lifestyle related diseases . Not unless every individual develops this responsibility , the government efforts are likely to fail
In trying to promote personal responsibility , people have varying views with regard to development of personal responsibility . They argue that personal responsibility is a behavior that is characterized by a number of traits which are genetic . These traits include social potency , use of hurting words , mental illness , violence , temperament , and aggression (Davidson 94 . They consider these traits to be prompted by nature meaning that nothing can be modified in an individual whose behavior includes one or more of the traits . Traits like alcoholism , overeating and smoking are considered to be genetic . Reports show that people started controlling diets after the assumption that the obesity , and smoking were influences by individuals ' genes . It is argued that all people are prisoners of genes meaning that it is responsible for individuals personality . This argument has been used by addicts and smokers especially the long term smokers , who argue that it is hard for them to stop smoking since it is dictated by their genes . The argument continue saying that since the heredity determines individuals the length of an individuals ' life , and the the smoking behavior , smoking continues...
