/CHN interventions have got any impact on health behavior change and intensity of need for care levels among vulnerable primary care clients A quasi-experimental design was used and a sample size of 80 adult

br primary care clients between the ages of 19 and 93 was obtained based on purposive sampling . The

/CHN interventions under study were mutual-goal setting and

/CHN home visitation whereby , the results revealed that there were no significant differences in improvement or health behavior change derived from mutual goal-setting intervention while home visitation resulted into positive effects

Validity , Strength and Weaknesses

The study has succinctly described its goal which is to test the effects of home visitation and mutual goal-setting interventions on intensity of need of care and behavior change . The study used appropriate measures to measure variables , for instance CHIRS , used for measuring intensity of need for nursing care . The positive effects of home visitation on intensity of need for nursing care , and behavior change show that the constructs for the study were operationalized appropriately
