SUBJECT : Request for grant to study awareness of water pollution

This memo is being written in to request XYZ Company to allow our organization a grant for our study . We plan on studying the degree to which the general public is aware of the pressing problem of water pollution , its causes and how this is affecting us . This case study will help us know to

what extent the people know already and to what extent we need to make them aware . It will help in awareness programs which we wish to carry out in future which will hopefully reduce the problem of water pollution and fresh water degradation

The methodology for how this will be done will also be discussed in the memo . Towards the end it will present points of how providing this grant will benefit XYZ Company and also the environment

This case study will help in finding out what and how much they know about this problem . This case study will study the degree of knowledge that people have

In to test this hypothesis , a case study will be carried out . Since the whole population cannot be studied , a sample will have to be selected from the population . The method of sampling will be systematic random sampling . This will ensure the reliability of the results by eliminating any kind of sampling biases . Once a sample has been selected , each person will be interviewed . This interview will be short and informal in nature . This will...
