Introduction

Published in 2001 , Sandra D . Wilson released a book that contained a number of counseling for people who have been badly broken , emotionally or physically . The book was covered in a green page having an illustration of domino on it . The symbolic image has something to do with the content of the whole book on how hurt is being transmitted to other people , and how does it heal . The book is composed of Wilson 's theories that focused about being hurt and the ways it is passed on to generations to generations . Also , she has discussed that people should learn to hold on to Jesus Christ in to become free of the pain and to have the strength to let go of the past hurt so as not to pass this aches to other people , who can be innocent and has nothing to do with what they had experienced before

Theory Critique

As she states in her book , this is also mentioned by Pastor Chris in reviewing her publication , the people who have been hurting us were also hurt people from their past . It is their defense mechanism that they will hurt other people in certain degrees , as Wilson also mentioned in the book . This is mostly true to the lives of human beings . In one way or another , there will come a time that one will be hurt and then suffer from it , battle against the emotions it has caused him /her , and then later cause pain to others , consciously or unconsciously

Say for example in a man-woman relationship , when a woman just suffered from a past relationship and chooses to be in a commitment again without being completely healed emotionally , she will sometime hurt her man by her behavior or the instance that she remembers something from her past and do it with the guy
