Criminality in sociology is defined as form of behavior deviant from the acceptable rules and norms of the society . Criminality can be generally defined as behavioral predisposition that favors disproportionately criminal act . Committing crime is not something which one is born with but it gradually takes place gradually depending on the environment one has grown up in . Circumstances one has found himself in at a certain time may force him to commit crime . Issues such as unemployment , child abuse as well as bad company may change a person who had been having innocent mind to start committing acts of crime . Children who could have been sexually , mentally or physically abused are much likely to become criminals since they tend to grow up with hatred and enmity in their lives
