Child abuse is a plague or virus that eats into the soul of an individual . As we can see , it also includes sexual abuse , emotional abuse and even child neglect . It also follows that these things do not occur as individual incidents but are always tied together . Moreover , this incident has a number of social and psychological ramifications . Hence , it is imperative that measures be taken to protect society and individuals Such is the case of implementing compulsory contraception for convicted child abusers

We know for a fact that Child abuse is a legal matter and that we have various laws to protect children from such . Moreover , we have implemented laws that penalize the offender . Yet child abuse is still a major problem that spans the country . Numerous cases still occur and what is quite alarming is the fact that a lot of the cases that occur have yet to be reported
Children often fall short when it comes to letting others know about the abuse for fear that the disclosure will bring consequences far worse than being victims again .
