PROPOSAL

THE DANGERS OF SMOKING

Despite the fact that the dangers of smoking are widely known , there are still many millions of people who continue to smoke . As such , it becomes important to educate people in regards to the dangers of smoking and to put dramatic pressure on big tobacco companies to help curtail this problem and move towards a future that is free of the dangers of smoking

THE PLAN OF ACTION (SOLUTIONS ) AND ITS DEMOGRAPHICS

The proper plan of action would require an expansive and comprehensive advertising campaign

. This campaign will be directed at two separate but important demographic groups

DEMOGRAPHICS TEENS AND ADULTS REGISTERED TO VOTE

In to do this , there must be a direct targeting of a youthful audience . It is obvious that people begin smoking when they are young so it becomes imperative to reach a target audience of teens and pre-teens and stress the importance of not smoking . By eliminating future customers , the power of big tobacco will be limited

Of course , it would be unwise to ignore adults who agree with the dangers of smoking and the power that they possess . Politicians are reliant on donations and votes , so involving anti-smokers to put political pressure on their representatives would prove to have a significant effect

This is why it becomes imperative that people understand the inherent problems with smoking and that a comprehensive plan be implemented to bring down ' big tobacco and finally stop the damage that smoking has reaped upon the population . This plan is broken down into two demographics : teens and adults and separate plans will be implemented in each area

First and foremost , what must be undertaken is a comprehensive advertising campaign designed to educate teens and pre-teens as to the dangers...
