Professions , related to laws and human health , often have duties and responsibilities addressing others ' lives . This involved ethical issues as well as personal and confidential information of their clients is their responsibility . Thus , it is part of their training before they are fully pledged of their profession how to address such ethical aspects

Information technology professionals have much access to confidential data and knowledge of individual 's and company 's as well especially on the networks and systems . This had endowed them a great covenant of power that can be exploited either deliberately or inadvertently . It must be noted that IT professionals have no standardized training for handling such responsibility as IT security consultant or in-house security specialist , thus , ethical aspects of the job is under scrutiny and solutions are still under question
