What was the ethic issue you experienced ? Three months ago , I met a woman who worked as a Procurement Manager in one of the competitors of General Mills . We accidentally met in a bidders meeting called by one of the major suppliers of our companies . Things developed so fast that in a matter of one month we acknowledged our positive feelings toward each other a couple of weeks later , we planned to get married within six months . I have been keeping the information about my situation for the past two months now . I know , I am at the threshold , if not within , the sphere of the established Code of Ethic of my employer . The specific Code that I may be violating is : Conflict of Interest ' Even when we have not yet gotten married yet , there are times when the of our discussion pertains to our individual companies and it is quite difficult to be constantly becoming aware of what one should talk about and to guard oneself from possible disclosure of company information
