I am pursuing a career in engineering by obtaining my BSBA degree . I think that this adult studies program will help me meet my career goals in a number of different ways . Being a busy adult , it has not been easy to make the decision to go back to school , and even harder to make it happen , but now I am in a good place to make it happen

Two years ago I started a career in automotive quality . Until I secured my most recent job , I spent most of my time jumping around

from job to job in retail or customer service . The work schedule that came along with those jobs didn 't allow me time to return to school and start my degree , and I also didn 't know exactly what I wanted to do yet . I finally landed a career in a field that I have a passion for , and one that allows me a fixed schedule with time to return to school

Once I was in this field , I realized that having only a GED would ultimately limit my success and advancement opportunity . Therefore , my ultimate goal is to obtain a BSBA degree and hopefully transition into an engineering position (quality or mechanical . My recent experience in automotive quality gives me experience in this area , because I am learning a lot about the technologies required . I also have a lot of practical , on-the-job experience in using this information . What I will learn at school will only improve my chances of promotion and success and afford me new opportunities

I am also dedicated to working hard in this program because as an adult who has seen what the alternatives are , I know what I really want to do and the kind of life I want to lead . This program will help me reach my goals and to become as successful as possible in this field

I am looking forward to beginning my studies , because I think that learning more about engineering and technology will only increase my interest in my field , and will help me to do my job the best I can Thank you for your consideration of me in this program...
