In our current generation , the use of anonymity in transactions and other endeavors was a form of security and are often used in defense of having privacy . The concept of privacy involves keeping personal things and information to the person himself . Thus , any other person can declare or use anonymity in to protect his /her privacy . In the information age , this is but a natural occurrence everyone can use pseudonyms in the internet . As the technology advances , so as the forms of plagiarism , theft and violation of privacy nowadays , there are internet hackers who can hack on system servers and get personal and private information that could range from complete names and addresses to credit card numbers and bank account information . Everyone can send about everything that could serve as nuisance to other people . For instance , defamatory messages are popular in the net . There are also hate messages and viruses . Most of the internet sites would require names and collect other personal messages from their client . To this , the reaction from the consumers or the internet users vary , for starters or for those who are not really acquainted with the internet they would answer the questions would full honesty , while for others , it would be treated as if it was nothing serious and would thus create another internet personality (Smith , 1994

From the discussion above , it is obvious that not everything about privacy is good . If one would want to keep his right for privacy it is fine . However , if someone else 's uses the right to privacy in to create or do illegal actions then the right to privacy should be abolished
