And while I was looking for the perfect print advertisement to analyze , the teenage , magazine-reading perfume-using market categories lead me to the print ad of Vera Wang Princess perfume imprinted on the March issue of US Weekly . Not only did I find it interesting to dissect

an advertisement in one of my favorite magazines , I also found this particular ad really vibrant and appealing - with particular notice of the tiara and the girly colors
Target-Audience
Obviously , the target audience for this print ad is the female market , with an age range of teenage years to early 20s . At face value , the advertisement is very effeminate , having a woman pose like a princess (with a tiara on top of her head . She flashes a modest smile which is very princess-like , as well . The background also has very feminine colors and even the bottle of the perfume is part of the market placement of the product . Creating a lavender , heart-shaped perfume container is part of the marketing strategy of the Princess perfume . It re-lives the fantasy of the child at heart who wants to be princess all over again - through using the Princess perfume
