Oral presentatation is often characterized as a way of delivering a speech to the public or to a set of people . This way of speech has its common goal of informing the audience through delivery of words supported by factual data presentation . As stated , oral presentatations can be used in different manner . As such , its application can be usable in schools , work place and society . This way of speech delivery could be

an effective method where students can use it for academic requirements such as class reporting , recitation and for thesis defense . In addition oral presentation is usefull in the professional or business world as a reliable medium to explain and transmit a message towards the achievement of a certain goal . This method can be used through client meetings , board meetings , event conceptualization and planning

At this moment , the kind of oral presentation I normally do is academic presentation . Basically it deals with class reports , recitation and for project defense . As a student , my primary purpose relates to academic requirements and for grading purposes . I usually do this during class disscussions and class reporting . Conducting an oral presentation in class is never easy . Upon presentating , it is important that the arguments should be supported with the needed facts and designed to achieve a certain goal . Though its hard , I can say oral presentation may perhaps be a manageable task to do . With the proper use of data presentation and by doing thorough study of the , a huge possibility of an effective oral presentation in class is attainable In the class , using basic words rather than highly technical and profound word for sentences is advisable in preparing oral presentations for class . With this startegy , high level of understanding of the for the students can be guaranteed . On the other hand , I can say that I will be able to do a marketing presentation for my workplace . Having the goal of establishing a career in marketing , this kind of work presentation is predictable for me . At this level it is important for me to be more detailed , persuasive and credible . In marketing , the state of being credible is essential in able to be succesful . Through this and with effective marketing research plus proper construction of presentation , convincing people can be achieved

Given the fact that conducting oral presentation is difficult , as a student I admit that i have several personal difficulties upon presenting that normally affect me on my presentation . I usually get nervous while presenting . This negative input is affecting me with my concentration that normally accumulate to confusions to the point of forgetting major details of the presentation . Furthermore , this problem somehow causes me to lose my confidence to continue with the disscussion and makes me a less efficient speaker .
