Prep Sheet to Discuss the Preproposal for my study
Discussion Evidently , the primary objective of teacher-centered curriculum is to utilize teachers skills in instructing learners strictly on the basis of school system dictated curricular . Such a theoretical approach denies learners the opportunity to demonstrate their particular strengths and weaknesses because they are simply guided through the recommended formulas and concepts for solving mathematical problems , with little regard to the final outcome of a teaching session . Driscoll (2005 posits that theoretical teaching model that is characteristic of teacher-centered curriculum is ineffective as it lacks the flexibility of taking into account

the input of students in the collection synthesis , and analysis of data and information from multiple sources By focusing on the school curricula , the teacher-centered approach is assumed to be practical in ensuring that all the students are able to clearly follow up and understand the concepts being taught although this is not usually the case (Boss et al , 2008
On the other hand , it is crystal clear that the primary objective of project-based teaching approach is to instruct learners through the development and adoption of relevant materials that correspond appropriately to strengths , styles and special needs of individual learners as well as groups of learners . Project-based learning can only be achieved through the combination of resources to facilitate teaching effectiveness and strengthen learning methods and collaborative opportunities . This means that unlike the teacher-centered curriculum the specific needs of learners are what dictate the curricula in the project-based learning approach
Therefore , project-based learning is a concept that is bound to...
