Abstract

Beginning in the years leading up to the American Civil War , and worsening from there , the efforts to provide equal rights to those who are other than white ' has turned into a political , social and economic disaster . This is not just an opinion , but something that can be backed up by outside sources . One organization which has fought to bring these facts to light , and prove who the real victims of discrimination in

American society is the Ku Klux Klan . In this the Klansman 's perspective on prejudice and discrimination will be presented- reinforced with evidence and backed up by documented facts Why So-Called Minorities are in the Majority

First , let us address the myth that anyone who is not a white , Anglo Saxon is a victim in America , which is to say that they have no opportunities to improve their lives , pursue opportunities , or enjoy the rights that the whites ' supposedly have exclusive access to through the United States Constitution (Ropers , et al , 1995 . The reality is that nothing is farther from the truth , and in fact , the opposite is true . To prove this point , let 's trace the life of a white , Anglo Saxon in America from cradle to grave , as opposed to someone who is not white and in many cases , not even an American citizen

Really understanding the situation requires a look at the white parents of a soon to be born baby while the white mother and father have to work overtime , obtain additional jobs , and /or cut their spending dramatically in to be able to afford the expenses that will inevitably come up with the birth of the baby , what society considers to be minorities-those who are other than white- have been receiving welfare benefits from the government , usually for generations , making the financial issue of a new baby irrelevant in fact , the more babies a welfare family creates , the higher the amount of benefits to which they are entitled , making procreation a wise investment on their part Welfare mothers are able to receive unlimited medical care without any thought of the cost , while those who are gainfully employed need to accept only the treatment that their paid insurance will cover , which could actually compromise the health of the new baby . This carries forward to the hospitalization process of mother and baby during and after birth

Fast forwarding to the growing up of the minority ' versus non-minority ' individual in America , minorities , by virtue of their designation , are entitled to college scholarships and more regardless of performance or merit , while non-minorities ' are forced to take huge loans to finance education , or their parents must do so This type of paradox presents itself when competing for employment after college and beyond

The point to be made here is that through the process of trying to protect the rights of people who claim they are at a disadvantage...
