The research is about defining the general , collective characteristics of the civilizations , people and social features inside the Mesoamerican region of the Northern America , prior to the arrival of the first European conquerors , an era known as the Pre-Columbian time . This is important because historians managed to ascertain the raw and genuine features of this particular region which managed to live on its own establish life and spearhead many different innovations , even if it was not in contact with the

western old world ' The research was undertaken primarily with the reliance to the information and input which are products of the review of related literature , reading and analysing the content of websites , magazine articles , journals and books . The main findings of the research is spread in a discussion which comprised of different sections , starting from the discussion of the main political , economic and cultural features of the Pre-Columbian Mesoamerican region and civilizations . An in-depth focus on particular aspects of culture followed , discussing art , architecture and astronomy in the Mesoamerican civilizations . This was given more attention .
