Law enforcement agencies on both a local and global level are depending more and more on one thing that will help raise the rate of finding criminals and that one thing is technology . The days of old , police had nothing but the horse then the vehicle and word of mouth to find who they needed to find that and good old fashioned detective work . Moving forward in times the next biggest thing that assisted officers became the ability to communicate with a dispatch center and then the retrieval of information by using this dispatch and a shoulder phone as some call it .
