Ackerman 's poem seeks to show the way a woman feels for someone . The character was described in an

elaborative and sensitive way . The poem which uses a 3rd person point of view observes how one woman 's desire for something is magnified to the extreme by the choice of words Ackerman uses . Marvell 's poem seeks to showcase a mistress who is willing to risk everything just for the sake of someone she loves . One example that can be pointed out is the issue of sexuality among women The huge difference can be seen in the way a females act and respond compared to their male counterparts .
