Starting from the upper left portion of the picture , there is a young Russian Jewish girl 's face . Her eyes are intense and her face shows an expression as if she is looking at something or someone . She looks a little frightened maybe because she is in a new environment or sees something that she doesn 't want to see or understand . Above her head is a pole in horizontal position and faintly on

the right side of her , a box is in view . Her head is wrapped with a scarf as if she was trying to keep warm

In the upper right portion of the photograph , there is a large half-mooned shaped window with metal bars that stretch vertically and horizontally across the window . There is also something that looks like a door entrance . It actually looks like a warehouse where the young girl is standing . The bottom left portion of the photograph shows the girls clothing and she is clothed with a well buttoned up coat . The scarf on her head can also be seen in this portion of the picture and there are additional poles seen in this portion of the picture . The bottom right portion of the picture shows the rest of her body and her arm inside of her coat . In the background , the floor can be seen and additional poles which are behind her
