Generally , the Pegasus Company employee 's case would call for rationality through an investigative research inquiry . The next logical questions that one would ask is whether the recommendation for employees reorganizing would provide valid results that reduce the impact of lack of communication between them . Either , it would be logically questionable on what research method both quantitative and qualitative should be used to provide the most plausible results . However , both the two scopes of methods would have

a broad scope of comparative benefits

At one level , quantitative research would be beneficial if quantitative data about the research was required . Quantitative research is used in the collecting , counting and analysis of measurable data that can be analyzed for statistical validation . This is a good method in which countable and quantifiable data is put into a scope of statistical autonomy . Valid statistical results on such quantifiable data can be provided through this method ( HYPERLINK "http /uk .geocities .com /balihar_sanghera /ipsrmehrigiulqualitativequanti tativeresearch .html http /uk .geocities .com /balihar_sanghera /ipsrmehrigiulqualitativequantit ativeresearch .html

However , qualitative research is the process of collecting , analyzing and elsewhere , interpreting non-quantifiable data . It involves the use and application of inferential characteristics and responses . This involves conceptualizing into concepts , characteristics , meanings s and symbols about things . The comparative benefit behind qualitative research is that it can produce valid results for non-quantifiable data . Since most of the inferential statistics involves the use of non-quantifiable data , qualitative research would then be comparatively beneficial ( HYPERLINK "http /writing .colostate .edu /collections /collection .cfm ?id 24 http /writing .colostate .edu /collections /collection .cfm ?id 24

How to measure the success or failure of this strategy

The strategy towards reorganizing the employees of Pegasus company into project focused groups rather than the former organizational culture would however be credited to the response pattern of the research inquiry . Perhaps however , the option towards qualitative research would be the most fundamental scope of method towards this inquiry . Based on the response of the new reorganization strategy , the research would follow the response image of the research process (Chris , 2004 ) Through the inquiry made to the workers , their response on affinity or rejection to the new strategy would be a basic tool of measuring the success or even the failure of this strategy . A negative response would ultimately mean that it would be towards organizational failure . However , a positive response would imply that the strategy would positively work towards the functionality of the company

Research process to use in determining the effect of the strategy

Generally , the research process will be developed on a descriptive and inferential methodology which implies that a qualitative research process would yield the most appropriate results . However , it should follow up a coordinated and organized research inquiry if the validity of the research results would be compromised . The starting point of the process would be in the formulation of a well structured and a systematic set of research questionnaire that would be delivered to the...
