Personal Growth and Development : How College made or will make an impact

For most students , graduating from High School has been one of their greatest achievements . Personally though , I do think that graduating High School is only a small step towards establishing one 's self as a credible member of an intellectual society . And College , I believe , is just another mere step towards that objective

Unlike High School , College offers more varieties in terms of opportunities

for learning and opportunities for social networking Indeed , entering College not only enables the individual to grasp huge amounts of knowledge , but he or she is also given the privilege of conversing with different kinds of individuals and is also given the chance of establishing relations with them . And since Colleges mostly comprises of different individuals from different places , chances are the individual becomes more open to even more opportunities for acquiring knowledge outside of what the College Academe . As such , it is important to consider that College not only develops an individual 's mind , it also develops an individual 's self-esteem and self-determination . Indeed , by entering College , one is not only improving one 's self as a student one is also improving one 's self as a person

College , as widely regarded , serves as an institution for learning However , unlike its predecessors (High School , Grade School , College offers more than the others in terms of social and educational aspects Simply said , if one wishes to grow exponentially in terms of emotion and cognitive processes , one must enter College
